Volleyball: UCLA-bound twins defeat Muno-Caputo in China
The UCLA-bound McNamara twins from Canada, Megan and Nicole, advanced to the semifinals of the women’s beach volleyball championships at the Youth Olympics in China on Monday by defeating Zana Muno of Sherman Oaks Notre Dame and Skylar Caputo of Mira Costa in three sets.
Muno and Caputo won the first set, 21-14, but then lost, 21-18, 15-8.
The McNamaras are committed to UCLA, along with Muno.
