Even in off-season, World Peace busy on Twitter

There’s no rest for Metta World Peace. At least not on Twitter.

The Lakers forward has provided his thoughts on the NBA Finals, including some pointed remarks about Oklahoma City and Miami players, as well as some insights on the Lakers-Thunder playoff series that took place last month.

Of interest, World Peace picked at James Harden’s lack of production Sunday in Game 3 of the Finals, tweeting that the Thunder guard was “No brain all beard.” World Peace was suspended seven games because he elbowed Harden in the head in the Lakers’ second-to-last regular-season game.

World Peace quickly added a tweet Sunday, however, predicting that “Harden will hit a big shot right now Watch out.”

It didn’t quite happen. Harden finished with only nine points on two-for-10 shooting in the Thunder’s 91-85 loss. The Heat lead the Finals, two games to one.

On Monday, World Peace added other thoughts on Twitter about the Finals, LeBron James and the Lakers.

“I want lebron to win because all the haters that hate on him...But I think okc will win in 7,” he wrote.

World Peace wrote a series of tweets about the Lakers: “Okc played old teams. And a laker team who is better but questioned their greatness at the wrong time...Okc beat a laker team with a rusty metta world...Those seven games helped them alot. I was a step slow on D and O.”

World Peace was referring to the seven games he missed via suspension, six of which were in the first round against Denver. The Lakers lost in five games to the Thunder in the Western Conference semifinals, with World Peace averaging 11 points and shooting a shoddy 36.7% for the series.

World Peace, who has spent most of this month vacationing in Vancouver, added another thought on the Thunder-Lakers series.

“I was in great shape but the last game I was my best.. But it was too late.. Okc #dodgedabullet I could see myself guarding [LeBron] James now ,” he wrote.
