The Lakers trail the New Orleans Hornets at halftime, 54-40, Wednesday at New Orleans Arena.
Kobe Bryant has 14 points and Pau Gasol has 12 points for the Lakers, who needed two overtimes to win in Memphis last night.
The Lakers (26-16) are trying to win road games on back-to-back nights for the first time this season. They are 8-14 on the road.
Point guard Jarrett Jack has 17 points for the Hornets, who are 10-32 overall and 4-17 at home. The Hornets shot an impressive 61.5% in the first half, a season-high for a Lakers opponent.
The Lakers allowed Chicago to shoot 58.5% in a half in the season opener.
After scoring 37 points on 15-for-18 shooting against Memphis, Andrew Bynum has six points on two-for-six shooting in the first half against New Orleans.
