D-Fenders release 2013-14 regular-season schedule
The D-Fenders have released their 2013-14 regular-season schedule.
The Lakers’ NBA Development League affiliate will open the season on Nov. 23 at home (at the Lakers training facility in El Segundo) against the Grand Valley Vipers.
This will be the D-Fenders’ seventh season, the first with new head coach Bob MacKinnon.
Last year, the Lakers sent Robert Sacre, Darius Morris and Darius Johnson-Odom on assignment to the D-Fenders throughout the season.
Sacre played in seven contests, averaging 11.4 points and 8.4 rebounds with 1.4 blocks a game. The second-year center recently signed a three-year deal with the Lakers.
Johnson-Odom was waived midway through last season. Morris was not re-signed this summer, remaining a free agent.
