Michael Miller was the features editor, columnist and book critic for the Daily Pilot, Coastline Pilot and Huntington Beach Independent. He left Times Community News in 2016. A UC Irvine alumnus with a master’s degree in creative writing from the University of East Anglia, he is the author of two books of poetry, “College Town” and “The First Thing Mastered,” from the Huntington Beach-based press Tebot Bach.
