How to score a free $100 gift card on your next visit to San Luis Obispo
Here’s an easy way to make money on your next visit to the city of San Luis Obispo: Stay two nights this spring and receive a $100 Visa gift card to spend however you like.
The deal: San Luis Obispo’s visitors center runs this offer each year. Here’s how it works:
You have to stay two nights in a hotel or B&B in the city (you’ll find a list of lodgings here). When you make a reservation, email your lodging confirmation code to the visitors center at info@sanluisobispovacations.com.
In return, you will receive a confirmation letter that you qualify for the $100 gift card.
When you go, bring the lodging confirmation letter, the gift card confirmation letter and your room key to the visitor center at 895 Monterey St. in San Luis Obispo. They’ll hand you the $100 gift card.
When: The deal is good for travel through March 31, based on availability.
Details: Gift cards will be given out to the first 470 travelers who apply, so if you plan to take advantage of the offer, act quickly.
The deal applies to a wide range of lodgings, from the Garden Street Inn Bed & Breakfast and the famed Madonna Inn to budget options like Motel 6 San Luis Obispo North and Vagabond Inn.
At Motel 6 and Vagabond Inn (depending on when you go; I checked availability for February dates online), the cost of a two-night stay runs from $137 to $159, including taxes. That means your $100 gift card could almost cover your lodging costs.
