National park tips: This rugged Death Valley road is a white-knuckle challenge for four-wheelers

There are plenty of rugged roads in Death Valley National Park, but Titus Canyon is a standout. The route squiggles and the mountains squeeze together around you until you begin to doubt your car can fit.

As you navigate, ask yourself who could ever have lived in Leadfield, the ghost town that turns up along the way.
