Hawaii: 33rd annual food and wine festival June 12-15 on Maui
Lovers of wine and food can drink and feast in luxurious surroundings at a four-day festival next month on Maui.
The Kapalua Wine & Food Festival will mark its 33rd annual celebration at the June 12-15 event at the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua on the island’s northwest shore.
Wines from several regions in California, plus the Pacific Northwest, Italy and New Zealand will be showcased at various tasting events. The vineyards will also share their wares at the “Grand Tasting,” a Friday evening gala.
Chef Andrew Sutton of Napa Rose restaurant at the Disneyland Grand California Hotel will host a cooking demonstration on the afternoon of June 14. The June 15 afternoon session will be led by Chef Dean Fearing of Fearing’s Restaurant in Dallas.
The program concludes with Sunday evening’s “Seafood Festival.” Chefs from 14 Maui restaurants will prepare seafood specialties to share with guests.
Tickets range from $90 for single events to $850 for a four-day pass.
