Classics beneath Santa Cruz’s redwoods

Shakespeare Santa Cruz: “Much Ado About Nothing” and “The Tempest” are presented beneath redwoods at the outdoors Sinsheimer-Stanley Festival Glen, where picnic tables have views of Monterey Bay.
When, where: Season, including some non-Shakespeare fare, is July 17 to Sept. 2 at the Sinsheimer-Stanley Festival Glen, 1156 High St. at UC Santa Cruz.
Admission: $29 to $40. With any adult ticket, you can purchase up to two youth tickets at $10 each (for those 17 and younger).
