Las Vegas: The bubbly with this fine dining experience is beer
- Share via
What do you drink when you’re in a fine dining establishment? It’s not about wine anymore. Las Vegas Strip restaurant Fleur by Hubert Keller will be providing beer pairings during a special dinner April 26.
The five-course, prix fixe menu will feature beers from Petaluma’s Lagunitas Brewing Co. Sarah Johnson, director of food and beverage for Mandalay Bay, will guide guests through the pairings. Johnson is Nevada’s first female cicerone, the brewing industry’s equivalent of a sommelier.
The 7 p.m. meal will begin with seared Cajun albacore, paired with Lagunitas’ Censored Rich Copper Ale. The next three courses center on Wagyu beef, loup de mere (European sea bass) and braised short ribs. For dessert, diners will be treated to an Imperial Stout Bacon Beer float.
The special meal is priced at $65 per person, plus tax and gratuity. For reservations, call (702) 632-9400.
