For a turbo-charged adrenaline rush, no need to head to the Indianapolis 500 when you can go to Las Vegas.

SpeedVegas, the city’s newest attraction, is open and welcoming drivers who want to get behind the wheel of a muscle car for a spin around a 1.5-mile track.

The multi-million dollar fleet of supercharged cars is impressive. Prices for the privilege of getting behind the wheel correlate to the value of the cars.

So a spin in a Corvette Z06 or Shelby GT costs $49, while a lap in a Ferrari 458 Italia and Lamborghini Huracán costs $89.

In between are cars like the Audi R8 ($59), Nissan GT-R ($59) and Porsche 911 GT3 ($69). Helmets and safety gear are included in the price.

Drivers who don’t want the ride to end can buy the Muscle Package for $295, which includes five laps behind the wheel of German or Japanese car with professional coaching.

The Formula One-inspired track features include banked turns, 60 feet of elevation change and a half-mile straightaway.

The track is located at 14200 Las Vegas Blvd. S., near Exit 25 off the 15, about 13 miles south of the MGM Grand and New York-New York resorts.

Prices include free transportation from major hotels.

While the track is open, the motorsports complex remains under construction. A two-story welcome center, complete with a cafe and indoor and outdoor observation decks, will open this summer.
