This looks to be shaping up as the year of the royals. Prince William and Kate Middleton are due for the most anticipated wedding of the year in April; Prince Albert of Monaco plans to wed in July; Madonna is making a movie about Edward, Duke of Windsor and the woman who cost him the throne; and now John Galliano is referencing that very woman -- Wallis Warfield Simpson (pictured with her ex-king), who became the fashionable and formidable Duchess of Windsor -- in Dior’s ‘pre-fall’ collection.
