Daniel Radcliffe tops actors on Britain’s richest-under-30 list

Daniel Radcliffe may have lost out on a Tony nomination for ‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,’ but he still has reason to celebrate: The young star of the ‘Harry Potter’ movies has been named the richest actor under age 30.

Radcliffe earned 28.5 million pounds, or about $46.5 million, in 2009-10, boosting his net worth to 48 million pounds, or about $78.4 million, according to the Sunday Times of London. That puts him at No. 5 on the overall list, but the top entertainment earner, ahead of Robert Pattinson of the ‘Twilight’ films.

Also making the cut is actress Keira Knightley, who this year appeared with ‘Mad Men’s’ Elisabeth Moss in ‘The Children’s Hour’ on London’s West End. The production is rumored to be moving to Broadway in the fall.

After his Broadway run, Radcliffe is set to star with Ciaran Hinds, Janet McTeer in a movie version of the spooky book and stage production of ‘The Woman in Black.’
