Our book critic and op-ed columnist Tim Rutten wrote in today’s paper about Irish birthday celebrations for Nobel laureate Seamus Heaney, who turned 70 this week. Among the honors are exhibits, string quartets and symphonies that, Rutten wrote, have turned this into quite a week for ‘the Derry-born farmer’s son now known to literary Dublin’s sharp-tongued gossips as ‘famous Seamus.’ ‘
