Looking a lot more brunette and a little more fierce, Jennifer Lawrence makes her debut as Katniss Everdeen later this week on the cover of Entertainment Weekly.
The magazine is running an exclusive interview with the Oscar-nominated star of ‘Winter’s Bone’ who was cast in the lead role of the first ‘Hunger Games’ movie.
‘I knew that as soon as I said yes, my life would change,’ Lawrence told Entertainment Weekly about being offered the part. ‘And I walked around an entire day thinking, ‘It’s not too late, I could still go back and do indies, I haven’t said yes yet, it’s not too late.’’
But Lawrence said she loves Suzanne Collins’ dystopian tale about the rebellious teen archer and her battles to the death in the ring.
‘If I had said no, I would regret it every day.’
