More than 4,000 rugs in stock at Woven Accents will be discounted up to 50% from Nov. 5 to11, the first sale in the 40-year-old showroom’s history.
“We’re just trying to move inventory and start purchasing some new things,” owner Sam Morad says.
The West Hollywood space has a huge selection, including vintage, modern and tribal rugs. Shown here, from left: a Morroccan rug (5 by 11.5 feet), originally $10,000, to be marked down to $3,750; a vintage Oushak rug (5 by 10.5 feet), originally $7,750, to be marked down to $2,900; and a patchwork antique kilim (5 by 7 feet), reduced from $1,380 to $750.
“People know us as a high-end showroom,” Morad says. “This could be an opportunity for some buyers to purchase something they can finally afford.”
Woven Accents is at 525 N. La Cienega Blvd. Special sale hours: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends. More information: (310) 652-6520.
