New L.A. Box Collective of furniture artists to show latest work Saturday in Chinatown

In conjunction with Chinatown Art Night on Saturday in Los Angeles, the newly formed L.A. Box Collective of furniture designers and makers kicks off a show, ‘So Happy Together,” with a reception from 6 to 9 p.m. at Fifth Floor Gallery.
The 12-member collective is committed to environmentally conscious design and production. The members include Cliff Spencer, Sidecar Furniture, caseandgrain, whyrHymer, Robert Apodaca, Stranger Furniture, Edward Pine Stevens, Riiska Design and Topher Paterno.
Fifth Floor is at 502 Chung King Court in Chinatown. Gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays or by appointment.
