Brooklyn designer Sarah Cihat’s work is part of a holiday sale of handmade decor at Inheritance, the Beverly Boulevard store known for distinctive tabletop wares. The price reductions, from 25% to 30%, are good through Saturday.

Cihat gained prominence for her Rehabilitated Dishware line, for which she took old plates from thrift shops and overstock racks and glazed them with boldly colored graphics. Platters from that collection are reduced from $110 to $77 at Inheritance.

The Duct cups, above, are made from porcelain and vintage ceramic decals. The back story: Cihat was enchanted by the pattern of duct tape that she used to hold molds together. The artist transferred that texture onto bisque-fired porcelain to make it appear as though parts of the cups had been wrapped in tape. In the smooth portions, Cihat added vintage floral decals, cut to fit and fired in the kiln. ‘They are on there for reals,’ Cihat said of the decals. The inside of each 4-inch-tall cup is clear-glazed. Originally $70 each, the cups are on sale for $49.

Among the other sale items at Inheritance: striped Kate Henri pillows, right, 14 by 20 inches and hand-woven from 100% naturally dyed wool. They have been reduced from $150 to $112.50 each.

Black matte vases and hand-painted Audubon series bird bowls from Middle Kingdom Porcelain are on sale, starting at $24.50. Coffee mugs from the British ceramics company the New English are less than $20.

For the bar cart, Inheritance offers pieces by Airdelsur, an Argentine studio. It produces hand-wrought trays, tongs, spoons and pitchers made from nickel silver with accents of horn and onyx. All pieces have been reduced by 30%.
