The eastbound 60 Freeway in the Walnut area was shut down Tuesday night after a vehicle crash, the California Highway Patrol said.
The shutdown was ordered about 11:15 p.m. Traffic was being diverted onto Fairway Drive.
The CHP said it was unclear how long the closure would remain in effect on the major east-west route. No other details were immediately available.
