150 dogs and one Bengal tiger rescued from Missouri breeder

It is unclear what the tiger had to do with anything, but Associated Press and the Humane Society of Missouri are reporting that a breeder (who had been busted before) was caught today in Seneca, MO, running a puppy mill, one where the animals had no food and the water in the bowls were frozen.
The AP reports:
The Humane Society of Missouri says it rescued more than 150 dogs and a Bengal tiger from a substandard dog breeder near Seneca. The group says the rescue Thursday with the Newton County Sheriff’s department was its second major puppy mill raid in less than a week. It says the dogs’ cages were covered with waste and they had no food or water. About 30 puppies and four pregnant canines were among the dogs taken to St. Louis for treatment pending a custody hearing March 9. The adult tiger was taken to a Springfield zoo. The same breeder in Newton County was raided two years ago. The state seized 150 dogs but didn’t file charges.
The Humane Society’s website also has an account of the rescue. Which includes these details of the dogs:
There are approximately 130 small breed dogs — Chihuahuas, Boston terriers, miniature pinchers, Lhasa apsos, Pomeranians and West Highland terriers. There are also 25 to 30 large breeds — huskies, chow chows and Shar-Peis.
Puppy mills and puppy mill survivors are not new to the news or to Unleashed, it was just December when these adorable pups were intercepted at LAX from a mill in Korea.
