Rocky, scourge of drug dealers and other bad guys, is retiring for health reasons after five years on the beat for the El Cajon Police Department.
Rocky, a 9-year-old Belgian Malinois, has severe arthritis. He’s going to live with his partner, El Cajon police officer Ken Davenport.
Rocky never had to bite a suspect. His snarl was enough to make even armed suspects surrender, police said.
‘Rocky deserves the best possible retirement,’ said Chief Pat Sprecco.
