January Jones’ pregnancy has Jason Sudeikis tongue-tied

‘Saturday Night Live’ funnyman Jason Sudeikis isn’t normally short on jokes, but he did get a little tongue-tied Saturday when asked about ex-girlfriend January Jones’ recently announced pregnancy.

‘I’d rather — yes but not,’ Sudeikis told the Washington Post when asked if he had any comment on her announcement, in which said she looked forward to being a single mother. Sudeikis was in D.C. for the White House correspondents dinner. where President Obama and Seth Meyers provided the entertainment.

Asked if he was surprised to hear that Jones was pregnant, he offered, ‘No, I — No, I didn’t have anything [else to say].’

That’s what those in the live sketch-comedy business might call dead air.
