This coming Sunday isn’t all about the Emmy Awards. It’s also the night of ‘Drop Dead Diva’s’ two-hour season finale. For those fans who are dying to know whether there’s a happily ever after on the horizon for Grayson (Jackson Hurst) and Jane (Brooke Elliot) -- well, you’re going to have to keep waiting and tune in. But it looks like Jane’s identity won’t be secret for long, judging from this tidbit from creator Josh Berman.
‘Everything that we’ve been writing up to the last five minutes of Season 2 has been leading to this moment … and it’s a crucial moment that changes the direction of the series,’ Berman said Friday during a telephone interview. ‘During the two-hour finale, Jane finally makes a decision that she’s going to tell Grayson the truth about her. In the course of making the decision, she comes up against Fred, her guardian angel, who doesn’t want her to go through with it, but she proceeds to do so.’
Uh-oh. What will Vanessa say?
As if that isn’t enough to keep your eyes glued to the TV, Paula Abdul returns for the second season finale. This time around, though, she isn’t playing a judge -- she’s playing Jane’s wedding planner.
The finale airs on Lifetime at 9 p.m. PT/ET.
