NBC is pulling its hourlong thriller ‘The Firm’ from its Thursday 10 p.m. slot and moving it to Saturdays.
The low-rated TV sequel to the 1993 film based on the John Grisham novel hasn’t officially been yanked, but the Saturday jump -- which kicks off Feb. 11 at 9 p.m. -- is one step away from the network moving it to a day that hasn’t yet been created.
In its place on Thursday nights, beginning March 1, the network is scheduling a new sci-fi crime drama, ‘Awake,’ starring Jason Isaacs as a man who moves back and forth between realities.
Once ‘The Firm’ assumes its new home, encore episodes of ‘Grimm’ will air Thursdays at 10 p.m. until the debut of ‘Awake.’
