The Oakland Raiders continue on their own bridge to nowhere.
The acquisition of DeAngelo Hall during the off-season was supposed to help them rebuild. Instead, they released him today, eight games into a seven-year, $70-million contract. With Hall’s dismissal, he ended up with about $8 million of that money.
So much for his offer this week to help pay former Virginia Tech/Atlanta Falcons teammate Michael Vick’s salary if the Raiders would sign him after he’s released from prison next year.
