Before you play this video, think this: poor Jason LaBarbera. OK, maybe it should be poor Vancouver Canucks fans. Now with the Canucks, ex-King LaBarbera is a backup to one of the league’s premier goaltenders, Roberto Luongo. But Luongo has been out with an injury, though he is said to be close to returning.

The Canucks’ other backup goaltender, Curtis Sanford, was reportedly placed on waivers today. After watching the five goals the New Jersey Devils scored on LaBarbera and Sanford last night, it’s easier to understand why Vancouver’s goaltending is in critical condition without Luongo. Just how many seconds is Sanford behind the net on the goal that put the Devils ahead 3-0? OK, now play the video.

* It’s official. Luongo will start tomorrow. (Updated at 4:20 p.m.)
