Jim Fox, the Kings’ TV analyst and recent Fabulous Forum blogger, will help kick off NHL Radio’s coverage of the league’s trade activity leading up to the deadline of noon Pacific time on Monday.
Fox, stationed in Los Angeles, will join Don LaGreca, Bill Clement and Billy Jaffe as hosts of a three-hour edition of NHL Live from NHL Radio, which can be heard on XM 204 and Sirius 208. The festivities will begin at 9 a.m. Pacific time.
The show will feature breaking trade news, analysis and interviews with players and executives. It will be simulcast on the NHL Network and streamed live on NHL.com.
And that’s only the appetizer.
After that show ends, the NHL Network will air a three-hour special focusing on the last-minute trade activity. The hosts are scheduled to be Brian Duff, Gary Green and Craig Button, along with Clement and Canadian writer Eric Duhatschek.
It should be almost as good as being in Canada, where trade deadline coverage is nonstop--and sometimes way over the top.
