Federer-Roddick coming on now

Just about to begin on Fox Sports West in Key Biscayne is Roger Federer against Andy Roddick. Not quite sure why I’m postponing taking our dog to the park because, really, watching Feds against A-Rod is just too often like watching the mean kid taking wings off flies.
Except Federer isn’t the mean kid, he’s just better than Roddick, way better. But Roddick seems to be trying to be more of a serve-volley player now that he’s working with the talented Larry Stefanki. Maybe Roddick can surprise Federer. Okay, surprise him for a point or two. But that’s why we watch, right? To see the upset, the unexpected. Unfortunately, one of the commentators is Justin Gimelstob who isn’t a favorite. Without ESPN doing the tournament you miss out on Patrick McEnroe or Mary Carillo. Lindsay Davenport is the reporter working this match for Fox, and she’s turning into another excellent tennis commentator.
