While most UCLA fans will be focused on the big football game at Stanford, the basketball program has an important weekend on tap, with four top-name recruits expected to visit.
Josh Smith, the 6-foot-9 center from Washington, heads up the list. Also expected are point guard Ray McCallum and the aptly-named shooting guard Trey Zeigler, both from Michigan.
Tyler Lamb, the shooting guard from Santa Ana Mater Dei who has already committed, should be there too.
Zeigler’s dad, Ernie, is the head coach at Central Michigan University. He spent five seasons as an assistant to Ben Howland at Pittsburgh and UCLA.
