The wins keep coming for UCLA’s baseball team, which improved to 20-0 Saturday with a 6-4 victory over Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, giving the Bruins a three-game sweep of the Mustangs.
Sophomore second baseman Tyler Rahmatulla went three for four to extend the Bruins’ school-record win streak. Rahmattula leads UCLA with a .453 batting average. Blair Dunlap extended his career-best hitting streak to 15 games.
Left-hander Rob Rasmussen raised his record to 3-0, striking out nine in 5 2/3 innings.
But the key to the Bruins’ start has been their bullpen. Left-hander Matt Grace picked up his first career save, getting the last three outs.
