Las Vegas likes the home teams to hold serve in the championship games, and for New England to beat San Francisco in the Super Bowl.
According to R.J. Bell of Pregame.com, a $100 bet on the Patriots to win it all would pay $120 if New England makes good on that; both the 49ers and Giants would pay $350, and the Ravens would pay $600.
The Patriots are 7 1/2-point favorites over the visiting Ravens, the first time since 2007 that Baltimore has been an underdog of more than a touchdown.
The 49ers are 2 1/2-point favorites over the Giants, the first time in the past 10 seasons a conference championship favorite is favored by less than a field goal.
Citing Cal-Neva sportsbooks, Bell listed the Super Bowl exacta odds as follows:
($100 on result wins . . . )
Patriots beat 49ers: $220
Patriots beat Giants: $350
49ers beat Patriots: $500
Giants beat Patriots: $600
Ravens beat 49ers: $1000
49ers beat Ravens: $1000
Ravens beat Giants: $1200
Giants beat Ravens: $1200
Also, some possible fallout from the high-scoring Packers and Saints getting knocked out: Before divisional weekend, the NFC was favored by four points over the AFC. Now, the AFC is favored by four over the NFC.
