Randy Almanza, a 17-year-old Latino youth, was shot in the head at 6722 Vineland Ave. in North Hollywood, and died at 3:15 p.m. Feb. 18.

The suspects--a neighbor among them--walked up to Almanza about 12:30 a.m. that night and shot him after what police described as a quarrel between rival tagging crews. He died later at St. Joseph’s hospital. Two Latino suspects in their 20s have been arrested and the investigation continues.
