Times top 25 redux

I don’t want to say The Times top 25 took it on the chin, but ...
No. 2 Long Beach Poly lost to No. 18 Birmingham, 20-7: After Birmingham’s one-sided loss last week to Crespi, maybe Crespi is the best team around, even without QB Kevin Prince.
No. 8 Riverside North lost to No. 23 Redlands East Valley, 21-20: The knock last year against North was it didn’t play a tough enough schedule to get into the Division I State Bowl. With greater expectations this season -- and supposedly a better team -- North doesn’t have a lot of games with which to build its credibility. Its Bowl chances this season are gone.
No. 25 South Hills lost to Trabuco Hills, 13-6: It just goes to show how difficult it is to be a lower-division school in the top 25. These are the big boys, and Trabuco hasn’t been accused of being a big boy in several years.
Questions, questions: Is Poly still in the top 10? Is North still in the top 25?
