Corona del Mar’s Kaluz chooses to wear Brown

One of Orange County’s most well-traveled basketball players, Stefan Kaluz of Corona del Mar, has committed to Brown University, pictured left, his coach said.

The 6-foot-9 center was the Southern Section Division III-A player of the year last season after the Sea Kings defeated Renaissance Academy for the division title.

The Southland missed out, too, because two of his final five choices reportedly were UC Irvine and UC Santa Barbara.
