David Green, the man with the hands every QB in the Mid-Valley Division fears, is one of the reasons Paraclete is reviving fond memories of its Southern Section title march that began a decade ago.
Following the Spirits’ 27-0 victory over Village Christian a couple Fridays back, Green has eight interceptions (third most in the state) and 22 tackles. He is also Paraclete’s top receiver with 315 yards and six TDs.
For the first time since 2001, Paraclete is one of the favorites to win a divisional title and it could clinch a share of its second Olympic League title with a victory over Cerritos Valley Christian on Friday.
Check out what the AV Press had to say about Green, RB Jerry Kelly and Paraclete’s expectations for the postseason.
