Servite fed Crespi a steady diet of DJ Shoemate in the overtime. Shoemate, who touched the ball, like, three times in the first half, carried five consecutive plays. A bootleg by Johnny McEntee was stopped with a nice open-field tackle by Lonell Jones for no gain at the nine-yard line.

Nick Echeverry booted a 27-yard field goal for the Friars, who lead, 10-7.
