It may be Pacifica’s night.

Even though Mariner Josh Brannon looked as if he might have been in the end zone when he was ruled to have fumbled, preventing what probably would have been a decisive score, and even though Kennedy moved the ball quickly upfield, a terrific one-handed interception by Raphael Huizar at the Pacifica 15 may have saved the day.

There’s fewer than seven minutes remaining and Pacifica, leading 17-7, has the ball in Kennedy territory.
