Norco LB Whittington commits to Fresno State

Norco linebacker Damion Whittington committed to Fresno State, which, if he’s as good as Norco Coach Todd Gerhart says, is a great place to max out your talent.

Fresno State puts a lot of guys in the NFL (and the Super Bowl, looks like), something you can’t say about Nevada, Colorado State, Northwestern State or Utah State, the other schools that offered scholarships.

Whittington, at 6 feet 1 and 218 pounds, is rated as the 90th-best player in the state and the third-highest recruit from California to commit to the Bulldogs.
