Football: Knox’s green and gold attire sent mixed signals

Walking into the FSN Prime Ticket studios wearing a green baseball cap and a very-Bruin-istic yellow sweater, it was very difficult trying to predict, based on appearances, which school Birmingham RB Milton Knox would pick for college.
In the end, the yellow sweater won out.
Knox announced his signing with UCLA on Wednesday during an on-air interview with Fox Sports Net, going with the same school he originally committed to months ago. Notre Dame was also in the running for the All-City Section player’s services, but, in the end, all the text messages in the world from Dayne Crist and Joseph Fauria couldn’t change his mind.
The City Section’s all-time leading rusher will definitely add a big bite to Rick Neuheisel and Norm Chow’s offensive scheme and it’ll be great to see a local kid leading the Bruins in their renewal attempt for glory.
