Softball: Two Southland players commit to Dartmouth

Templeton pitcher Kat Hicks and Los Alamitos catcher Molly Khalil have committed to Dartmouth, according to Dartmouth Coach Christine Vogt.

As a junior, Hicks helped Templeton capture the Los Padres League title and led the Eagles to a division semifinal appearance. She posted an 11-5 record with a 1.38 ERA and 159 strikeouts. Hicks also batted .363 with 14 RBI and 12 runs scored.

Khalil has played a prominent role in Los Alamitos’ last three Sunset League titles and batted .500 as a junior.
