Josh Nunes is emerging as one of the hottest football recruits on the West Coast. And the quarterback from Upland could end up earning a similar distinction on the national level soon, particularly if the hype machine continues to generate steam like it has over the past month or so.
The 6-foot-4 junior has received scholarship offers from Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii and most recently, Stanford. Other teams expressing interest in Nunes include Cal and UCLA. Can’t forget to mention the fact that BYU and Notre Dame are in the mix as well.
It doesn’t appear as if he’s in a hurry to make a decision. Besides, if the recruiting services, Scout.com and Rivals.com, continue building him up, his stock will only increase. Who knows, perhaps Nunes will become a household name before all is said and done.
