Riverside King dresses the part before taking on Fremont

Sitting here courtside at Riverside King, watching the Wolves warm up before their Southern California Regional Division I first-round boys’ basketball game against Los Angeles Fremont.
The King players are wearing their Southern Section championship T-shirts over their jerseys. The Wolves beat Etiwanda in overtime Saturday night to win the Division I-A title.
This should be a pretty good matchup. Fremont is well rested after losing in the City Section semifinals a week ago, while King is probably a little heavy in the legs after that overtime game against Etiwanda less than 48 hours ago.
The guy who checked my pass at the door seemed surprised The Times would come all this way to see a game. I guess he didn’t follow my blogs during the football season.
Anyway, I predict Eric Wise gets 25 points and 15 rebounds and Kawhi Leonard pitches in another 18 points and eight rebounds and the Wolves win by 15.
Then again, I’m a bit of a homer out here.
