There’s some good news to report. The City Section was supposed to lose out on holding its championship football games at the Coliseum this fall because of budget cuts.
But the Coliseum Commission has agreed to reduce its costs to the City Section and charge only for expenses for using the Coliseum, according to John Aguirre, City Section assistant commissioner. Aguirre is still waiting to see what the final costs would be, but he said he’s hopeful something can be worked out.
