Former Fairfax High basketball standout Chace Stanback, who is in the process of finding a new school after receiving his release from UCLA, received a boost last month when his mother, Sarah Quick, won $25,000 by playing an online game.
She plans to use the money to help her son pay his college tuition next year when he is redshirting. Stanback has been considering Washington, Georgia Tech, North Carolina State and several other East Coast schools.
‘It’s no big rush,’ Quick said of her son’s search for a new school.
