If you’re a high school sports fan, and a stathead like myself, you’re going to want to get this book.
Heck, even if you’re not a stathead . . . high school sports fans are going to want to get this book.
Cal-Hi Sports has just come out with the seventh edition of the CalHiSports.com State Record Book and Almanac. Started and thoroughly researched as a labor of love by the late Nelson Tennis, it’s been continued and expanded by his nephew Mark and co-editor Ronnie Flores.
I use it frequently as a reference source, but seemingly every time I pick it up to research one thing, I get engrossed in something else. Might be their choices for the top 100 male and female athletes in state history. Or the list of every California prep product drafted in the first two rounds of the NBA draft. Or their historical state rankings in football, basketball, baseball and softball. Or one of the many breakout feature articles or mini-features in the book.
If that sounds like your cup of tea, it’s worth your $20. Ordering information is available at CalHiSports.com.
