Football: ECR hangs on to beat Hart, 33-28

It appeared Hart would have one last gasp... but it wasn’t to be.

Da’Jon Hairston recovered C.J.Reyes’ onside kick but the Indians were flagged for touching the ball before it traveled the necessary 10 yards and El Camino Real was awarded possession with 39 seconds left.

Two kneel downs later the Conquistadors had burned the remaining time and escaped with a 33-28 intersectional victory at College of the Canyons. El Camino Real built a 26-0 lead early in the third quarter but was outscored 28-7 over the final 17 minutes.
