Edison has taken its first lead of the game against Mater Dei, with quarterback Matt Viles passing eight yards to Dylan Leener for the touchdown, then connecting with Jeff Trojan for a two-point conversion. It’s Edison 29, Mater Dei 26 with 7:49 left.

Luke Eddy came up with Edison’s defensive play of the game, jarring the ball loose on a short pass reception by Sedric Hill, and Trojan picked up the fumble and ran 46 yards to the Mater Dei 24 with 9:57 left.
