Edison is probably feeling fortunate to be behind only 20-14 at halftime to Mater Dei after the Monarchs’ Zac Chocek made his second 22-yard field goal with five seconds left in the second quarter.
Edison has had a fumble, an interception and seen Mater Dei have to settle three times for field-goal attempts.
Corbin Anderson broke off another long run, this time from 36 yards, for Mater Dei. He has 100 yards rushing in six carries.
