Los Angeles Loyola is making its debut tonight for interim Coach Adam Guerra, and the Cubs showed off some toughness with a successful goal-line stand against Valencia.
Valencia was stopped on the Loyola one-yard line on fourth down when Steven Manfro couldn’t get around the left end during the Vikings’ opening drive.
Loyola, however, is struggling on offense, with penalties and a lack of a running game. There’s under two minutes left in the first quarter of a scoreless game.
