Corona Centennial Coach Matt Logan decided during the summer that quarterbacks Michael Arredondo and Michael Eubank would share playing time, and he has made good on his promise.
They rotate each series during games no matter whether it’s a 10-play opportunity or two-play opportunity. And their statistics are almost identical for the 7-1 Huskies.
Arredondo has completed 55 of 96 passes for 729 yards and eight touchdowns. Eubank has completed 52 of 95 passes for 636 yards and six touchdowns.
The Huskies have been so productive on offense that they haven’t punted in their last three games, which can’t make their outstanding punter, Trevor Romaine, too happy. He’s averaging 41.6 yards per punt.
Centennial hosts Norco (7-1) on Friday in a game that should decide the Big VIII League championship.
